A BIG Welcome to Brit Writers and Writers Everywhere

Thank you so much for dropping by The Unofficial ‘Brit Writers and Writers Everywhere Blog’ where you can comment and share your writing.  We wanted to create this platform for writers who are all at different stages in their careers, from published, down to those penning or editing their first ever manuscript.

We want writers / agents / publishers / consultants alike, to come together offering advice on how to write, how to edit and how the publishing process really works, from the initial draft through to marketing and promotion.  Over the next few weeks we will be discussing exactly what literary agents and publishers do, how to write a query letter, how to write the dreaded synopsis and how to format a script / manuscript, along with many other intriguing and helpful topics.
Wherever you are and whatever you are writing, whether you’re a poet or songwriter, novelist or playwright, this is the place to stop, refuel, join in the conversation, make new friends and find valuable information, from not only publishing professionals but also get retrofitted with new ideas from aspiring and established authors.

We are here to help authors support other authors and give them the credit they deserve.  The Brit Writers' and Writers Everywhere Blog is a place where you can shout about your successes, tell everyone about your new website, your Facebook and Twitter links and promote your published or unpublished works.  So if you're an author and would like to be a guest on our blog, please feel free to contact us and tell us more about you and your work.

Remember when it comes to the written word...  be passionate and be bold and every time you open up your laptop, enjoy.  You have the power to create brand new worlds which others can revel in.

Speculative content from lack of research will be deleted.

  1. I think this is a brilliant idea. I'm really looking forward to the discussions on this blog. There are so many blogs out there but none that I have found actually have publishers and agents chatting as well!

  3. Hello everyone.
It will be pleasure to start contributing with the BWA Blog. With so many experts in the UK and USA I will post a few lines about (my specialism?) the Latin American market, where I have been focussing my efforts on for the past few years. And talking of effort, every drop of effort I have put into the Brazilian market has generated amazing results. The country is one of the fastest growing regions of the world, is very Eurocentric (Brazil is a huge Portugal cum Spain with a touch of Italy and Germany spiced up by Japanese, mid-eastern and African cultures), loves the UK and is eager to accept British writers, published or unpublished! (Most of the published ones seem to be there anyway.) I hope to help you to gain an understanding of that part of the world, and for the ones of you who write, how about even publishing first aboard as Europe awaits economic recovery?
    Well, more anon.
