Brit Writers are looking for the UK’s and the worlds best undiscovered writers — people like you, who create stories, poems or songs that deserve to be shared.  Brit Writers are looking for the best undiscovered writers’.

Director and Writer, Bivas Ambasada, had a successful evening.

The Brit Writers Awards 2012 took place on the 1st of December, 2012 where Bivas won the award in his nomination of ‘Five Years To Life’ in the ‘Short Stories’ category. It was a beautiful evening with his close ones to support his success. Additionally, he was also awarded with the ‘Unpublished Writer of the Year Awards’ which is an outstanding achievement. Two achievements in one evening.

In his own words, here is what Bivas had to say about his achievement:

“I was extremely happy to be a finalist at this year’s prestigious Brit Writer Awards for my short story ‘Five years to Life’. It was such an amazing and beautiful evening with many published and unpublished writers/authors in the room alike. The reception was warm and interesting. I am pleased that I won the award in my category and that Brit Writers had recognised this is amazing, as the story is based on real event in relation to a 5 year old girl who was shot by stray bullets, leaving her in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. As winning one award wasn’t enough, I was totally surprised when the main CEO, a gentleman called Imran Akram announced that I had won the Brit Writers Unpublished writer of the year with a £10,000 prize money and publishing deal.
Overall, I am forever grateful for this opportunity they have given me and that it is to do with this particular story with a real message, thank you.”
